Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in acute care settings with precision and compassion
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records (EHR) accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and HIPAA regulations
- Respond effectively to emergency situations using advanced life support skills
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- BSN degree or equivalent experience (ADN candidates with 2+ years acute care experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certification (current)
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
- Strong proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Proven track record in patient-centered care and team collaboration
