Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care by assessing conditions, administering medications, and monitoring patient progress in accordance with nursing standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
- Document patient data accurately in electronic health records (EHR) to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulations.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and utilize critical thinking skills to resolve issues in real-time.
Qualifications
- Active RN License in the state of Kansas required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff.
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.) is a plus.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities essential for high-pressure environments.
