Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and in compliance with hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond swiftly to any changes in condition or medical emergencies.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the wider healthcare team.
- Document patient progress, symptoms, and care activities in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans.
- Maintain a sterile, safe, and organized clinical environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience (New Grads welcome to apply).
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong focus on patient safety and quality outcomes.
