Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in fast-paced emergency and critical care settings
- Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures per physician protocols
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records (EHR) with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety regulations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care or emergency department experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights/weekends
