Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across diverse medical units including ER, ICU, and Med-Surg
- Administer medications, treatments, and specialized procedures per protocols
- Document patient assessments and care plans using Epic EHR system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and HIPAA regulations
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and treatments
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
Qualifications
- Active CA RN license (BRN) in good standing
- BSN or associate degree with commitment to BSN within 3 years
- Minimum 1-2 years acute care experience preferred
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
