Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary care team to develop personalized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation.
- Provide compassionate patient education and support to families during critical times.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
