Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Care Planning: Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Vital Monitoring: Continuously monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, promptly reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Collaborative Care: Communicate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic patient care.
- Infection Control: Adhere strictly to hospital hygiene and infection control policies to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the California Board of Nursing.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required; PALS preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or acute care setting (New graduates with exceptional clinical rotations will be considered).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to navigate electronic medical records (EMR) systems efficiently.
- Compassion: A genuine passion for patient advocacy and a strong commitment to ethical nursing practices.
