Responsibilities
- Assess and Monitor: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document clinical data accurately and in a timely manner.
- Administer Care: Implement physician orders, administer medications, and perform treatments according to strict hospital protocols and standards.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Emergency Response: React quickly and effectively in emergency situations, prioritizing patient safety and well-being under pressure.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and legible medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred; new graduates with a strong academic record are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
