Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with medical protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and promptly report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other multidisciplinary team members.
- Document patient care activities, vital signs, and treatment outcomes accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and discharge planning.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to all safety and sanitation standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (Med-Surg, ICU, or ER experience a plus).
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and families.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
