Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and clinical status, escalating concerns to the nursing team promptly.
- Document all patient interactions, care provided, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
- Educate patients and their families regarding disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications
- Valid and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience (New graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
