Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs in accordance with nursing standards.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians while ensuring patient safety and well-being.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records, vital signs, and medical histories.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, discharge instructions, and health promotion strategies.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond swiftly to any changes or emergencies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered Oregon RN License.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting (New Graduates welcome with appropriate certification).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of patients.
- Computer proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- CPR certification valid for at least one year from hire date.
