Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor vital signs and report significant changes or abnormalities to the charge nurse or physician immediately.
- Document patient care services, including assessments, treatments, and responses to care, in accordance with facility standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
