Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and monitor patient progress.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and licensed practitioners.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and care after discharge.
- Respond to emergencies and provide critical care interventions in accordance with established protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and clinical notes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit-based activities.
Qualifications
- Current and valid State of Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting (New graduates may be considered for training programs).
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
