Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient progress, medical history, and treatment plans accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and apply critical thinking skills to resolve issues.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (New grads welcome).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to provide empathetic and patient-centered care.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
