Responsibilities
- Monitor Patient Health: Observe and record patient condition, reactions, and symptoms accurately.
- Assist with Daily Living: Help patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer Care: Change bed linens and assist with mobility as needed.
- Communicate Effectively: Relay important information to nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain Hygiene: Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
- Record Keeping: Update medical records and logs regarding patient care and progress.
Qualifications
- Valid CNA License: Must hold an active Certified Nursing Assistant license in the state of Illinois.
- Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- CPR Certification: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Compassion: Genuine empathy and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
