Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on evidence-based practice.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately, adhering to all hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions continuously, alerting physicians to any changes immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health maintenance.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous professional development.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nevada.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Life Support (PALS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency and experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).
- Excellent critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
