Responsibilities
- Assess patients' medical histories and symptoms to determine appropriate nursing interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, following strict safety protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and patient condition continuously, documenting changes and reporting emergencies immediately.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation in compliance with hospital standards.
- Respond promptly to patient requests and ensure a safe, clean, and healing environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (ASN, BSN, or MSN).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient privacy standards.
