Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient assessment, treatment, and care coordination
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient records accurately using electronic health systems
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, and hospital protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency response drills
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- BSN or higher preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current)
- Minimum 1-2 years acute care nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
- Experience with electronic health records (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
