Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with facility standards and nursing protocols.
- Monitor Vital Signs: Accurately assess and monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, maintaining strict adherence to safety guidelines.
- Collaborative Care: Work effectively within an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care plans and communicate updates to physicians and families.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, charts, and incident reports in a timely manner.
- Emotional Support: Provide compassionate emotional support to patients and their families during critical times.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active RN, LPN, or CNA license in the state of Wisconsin.
- Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required (unless facility specific).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Compassion: Strong empathy and a genuine desire to help those in need.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
