Responsibilities

  • Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans, and monitor patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians in accordance with hospital policies and protocols.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and home care instructions.
  • Document patient care services using electronic health records (EHR) accurately and timely.

Qualifications

  • Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting (New graduates with excellent clinical rotations considered).
  • Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
