Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vitals and medical conditions, documenting changes and reporting critical findings immediately.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) documentation.
- Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes to ensure seamless patient flow.
- Collaborate with physicians and other multidisciplinary professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Tennessee.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (New grads welcome).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
