Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments according to hospital protocols.
- Collaborative Care: Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist in stabilizing critical patients.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
- Technology: Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Soft Skills: Empathy, adaptability, and a commitment to patient safety and quality care.
