Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, escalating concerns immediately.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a safe and clean patient environment, adhering to infection control standards.
- Respond to medical emergencies and code blue situations with urgency and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN, BSN, or MSN preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed.
