Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical history.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously, identifying critical changes and responding immediately.
- Collaborate with the night shift nursing team to ensure seamless continuity of care.
- Document patient care activities, vital signs, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting (preferred for Night Shift).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced night shift environment.
