Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care during the night shift hours.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in patient condition immediately to the charge nurse or physician.
- Administer medications, treatments, and intravenous therapies as prescribed by licensed providers.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff at all times.
- Assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures efficiently.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred; new graduates with bridge programs are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume night shift environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and staffing requirements.
