Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor health status throughout the night shift.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Document patient care activities, observations, and interventions in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) in real-time.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide patient and family education regarding medical conditions, medications, and discharge planning.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for patients and staff.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and critical incidents during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations are welcome.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and weekends as required.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
