Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical and psychological needs to develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously and respond immediately to any changes in status.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and discharge planning.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to manage emergency situations during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred (New grads welcome with accelerated programs).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
