Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health status.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Document patient care plans, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
- Respond promptly to emergent situations, utilizing critical thinking and life-saving skills.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust individualized patient care plans.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred, with strong night shift experience a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and holidays as required.
