Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients during overnight hours
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments and care activities accurately in EMR systems
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina RN license (or compact state license)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience in telemetry, ICU, or emergency department preferred
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
