Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough physical assessments and monitor patient vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments while adhering to strict hospital protocols.
- Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Collaborative Care: Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on disease management, discharge instructions, and preventative care.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations with composure and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Education: Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in North Carolina.
- Experience: No prior nursing experience required. New graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required or obtained within probationary period.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent critical thinking abilities, and proficiency in electronic medical records.
