Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs and develop/modify individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and licensed healthcare providers.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities immediately.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Document patient care services accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in shift handovers and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various clinical settings.
- Physical stamina to perform duties such as lifting, standing, and moving patients for extended periods.
