Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to safety protocols and hospital policy.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any changes in condition or emergencies.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and disease management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred (New graduates may be considered).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical record systems.
