Position Overview:
The Registered Nurse (RN) will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs and medical history.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and unit codes.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare staff.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
