Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and respond immediately to any changes in condition or emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning support to promote continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Tennessee.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, though exceptional new grads are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment.
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.) is a plus.
