Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition to the nursing supervisor or physician immediately.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment, and post-care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
