Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Document patient care plans and progress updates accurately and timely.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing (Kentucky required).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation and valid ID.
