Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical status, documenting changes and escalating concerns immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to families during critical times to ensure understanding of care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records, lab results, and clinical notes.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, infection control policies, and quality assurance standards.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license issued by the Texas Board of Nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Computer proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
