Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and triage to determine appropriate care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Document patient health information accurately and timely in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and preventative care.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with electronic health record systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional on-site duties.
