Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on best practices.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and in compliance with medical protocols and state regulations.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, responding promptly to any changes or emergencies.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health maintenance.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the wider interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Ensure a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Nevada.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
