Responsibilities
- Assess patient health issues, needs, and recovery progress by conducting thorough physical examinations and patient histories.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vitals and record changes in medical condition, symptoms, or behavior.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Respond to medical emergencies and patient needs with composure and clinical expertise.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS certification preferred for critical care areas.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
