Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility issues and transfers using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Communicate changes in patient condition or concerns to the nursing staff and physicians immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment and equipment.
- Administer medications as prescribed and document administration accurately.
- Support patients with daily activities and emotional needs to ensure a comfortable stay.
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA License in the State of Florida required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented attitude toward patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
