Responsibilities
- Greet patients and prepare them for examination, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and symptoms.
- Assist physicians during medical procedures and examinations.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize medical equipment, and arrange medical supplies.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, administer medications as directed by a physician.
- Explain treatment procedures, medications, and instructions to patients.
- Coordinate with front office staff to manage patient flow efficiently.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
- High school diploma or GED required.
