Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient progress continuously, responding immediately to any changes in condition or vital signs.
- Provide clear and compassionate education to patients and their families regarding diagnoses, procedures, and post-care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters, assessments, and interventions in the EMR system.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other staff to ensure a seamless and holistic patient experience.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, though new graduates are considered.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and medical staff.
