Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the care team immediately.
- Provide compassionate patient and family education regarding health conditions and treatment options.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- ACLS certification preferred for certain units.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and maintain a professional demeanor under pressure.
