Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered care and treatment plans for a diverse patient population.
- Monitor patient health and document vital signs, symptoms, and changes in medical condition accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-discharge care.
- Assist in the orientation and mentoring of nursing students or new staff members.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, especially in cardiac or medical-surgical units.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
