Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with facility standards and nursing protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and health status, promptly reporting any changes to the nursing supervisor or physician.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a diverse healthcare team.
- Flexibility to rotate shifts as needed.
