Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Care: Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records and patient documentation to ensure continuity of care.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and utilize critical thinking skills to ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Pennsylvania.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to navigate Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems efficiently.
