Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient health issues and needs, developing and implementing comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, documenting changes and reporting critical issues immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients, ensuring a smooth continuum of care.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Commitment to the highest standards of patient care and ethics.
