Responsibilities
- Assess and Monitor: Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Care Coordination: Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient documentation in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, wellness, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide critical care interventions when necessary.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona (AZ).
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
- Compassion: Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Technology: Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
