Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care and conduct comprehensive patient assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in electronic health records.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to critical changes or emergencies.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or Virginia.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers certification required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred (new grads with exceptional internships considered).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
